Bingley & Airedale

From Skipton the river Aire gradually widens its valley as it passes through Keighley and Bingley towards Saltaire, the nineteenth century model village and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The maze of quiet country lanes on both sides of the Aire between Skipton and Keighley are calling out for discovery (and you'll find traditional pubs in the most unlikely places). Off-road options include the by-road north from Keighley across Rombalds and Ilkley moors and the woodland bridleways east of Silsden.
