Littleborough & Hollingworth Lake
To Chelburn Reservoir and Summit From the High Peak Car Park at Lydgate head north on the Pennine Bridleway to the reservoirs at Chelburn. Then drop down to the Rochdale Canal and walk to Summit, the watershed of the South Pennines. A walk along the towpath will take you Durn. The Rake Inn for that all important goodies stop is just up the road. The route then goes Ealees valley and back to Lydgate.
