Holmfirth & The Holme Valley - Last Of The Summer Wine Country

Summer Wine Country - around Jackson Bridge
This enchanting South Pennine valley has cliffs, waterfalls and wild flowers and the walk takes you through a mixture of pastures, hamlets and valleys. The easy - but a bit muddy in places - walk is at at the heart of the Summer Wine Country. The route is a series of paths, footbridges, stiles and interlinked fields up and down the valleys around Jackson Bridge, eventually onto the Kirklees way and back down into Jackson Bridge.
