Marsden & The Colne Valley
Stanza Stones - Marsden to Hebden BridgeThis walk forms day 1 of the 3 day Stanza Stones walk ultimately taking you from Marsden to Ilkley via Hebden Bridge and Bingley. Marsden to Hebden Bridge is an 18 mile walk which visits the Snow Stone and the Rain Stone, takes you on a high bridge over the M62 and along Blackstone Edge near Littleborough, past Blackstone Edge, White Stone and Warland Reservoirs on the Pennine Way to Stoodley Pike, before descending into Hebden Bridge for food, drink and a well earned rest. On a clear day the views, particularly from the Snow Stone at Pule Hill and at Stoodley Pike, are absolutely stunning.
