Reservoir Trails Walk 6 - Piethorne Valley ReservoirsThis is the sixth of a series of walks exploring the landscape of the South Pennines through its reservoir heritage. Walk 6 takes in six reservoirs which between them hold 4164 million litres of water. The watershed area which feeds the reservoirs forms a vital moorland habitat for birds such as curlew, wheatear and skylark. For more information and a downloadable leaflet about this series of walks please see the Watershed Landscape website.
