Reservoir Trails Walk 8 - Castleshaw Valley ReservoirsThis is the last of a series of walks exploring the landscape of the South Pennines through its reservoir heritage. Walk 8 in the Castleshaw Valley is steeped in history with the ruins of a Roman fort and evidence of iron smelting from the Middle Ages as well as Victorian features still in use on the reservoirs.
