Watershed Walks - Oxenhope Moor Heritage Trail

Oxenhope Moor forms an upland plateau recognised as an important natural heritage site and forms part of the South Pennine Moors Site of Special Scientific Interest.  Signs of human activity are many and varied, from old abandoned farmsteads and hamlets, to the reservoirs and catchwaters (conduits) and viaducts visible in the landscape.  Much of this route follows packhorse trails and footpaths and gives some great views across Warley Moor to Stoodley Pike and even up towards Pendle Hill on a clear day.  There is one of the Stanza Stones on this route too.
