Watershed Walks - Castleshaw Heritage Trails

The Castleshaw Valley has a fascinating history of human habitation and there is evidence of pre-Roman burial mounds as well as many weaver’s cottages from the more recent past.  The walk takes you on the Pennine Way and local footpaths and offers views of 3 reservoirs as well as being steeped in history.

This route is an amalgamation of 3 trails, and full details can be found on a leaflet here.  Audio trails are planned and will be available on the same site
