Hebden Bridge, Mytholmroyd & The Calder Valley

Over the top to Slaughter Gap
If weather conditions are halfway decent this is a walk of lovely and contrasting views. West to the moors of upper Calderdale (with the usual sighting of Stoodley Pike) South to Halifax itself squeezed into the valley and beyond to Emley Moor Mast. East is Queensbury, above Bradford and on a clear day the power stations on the Aire.
